Sports & Performing arts

Sports and Culture are an integral part of learning at BRG schools. Our students participate in a wide array of sports events and cultural activities. They will be inducted into various arts – so that they develop graceful expression through Dance, feel the ecstasy of Music, emote through Drama and express their abstract feelings through painting. Students  are given first hand experience to celebrate the vibrant Indian culture through celebration of festivals.

NCC/HINDUSTAN SCOUTS & GUIDES 

Gujarat Public School has very enthusiastic teams of NCC (National Cadel Corps) and Hindustan Scouts & Guides. They function in the campus with an objective to train the youth of the school in their mental, physical and spiritual development. They undertake lots of activities related to community services, National Integration, Patriotism, Brotherhood, Discipline, Leadership qualities etc.

National & International Projects

  • Our initiatives such as Indian International Model United Nations (IIMUN), ChhatraSansad Leadership Conclaves,  Project One world, Experience India (With schools in Kobe, Japan) and other varied European student organizations give the students a hands on experience of world cultures and lifestyle around them.
  • INTERNATIONAL PROJECT ONE WORLD : Gujarat Public School believes in multi dimensional development of students. We educate and prepare our students to face the challenges of the ever changing world. We believe in giving global and international exposure as we believe that children will glow better if exposed globally. Gujarat Public School – Atladara, becomes a wetting pot of the cultures of the world where students from across the globe come to school for cultural exchange programme. This is the most colourful feature of Gujarat Public School – Atladara. Students from different countries like Russia, Poland, Belgium, U.K., Sri-Lanka, Taiwan, Egypt, Palestine, Turkey, Japan, China, Netherlands, France, Germany and other Asian and European countries had so far come to participate for this programme.
  • EXPERIENCE INDIA: An annual feature of GPS-Atladara in collaboration with Keimei Gakuin School, Kobe – Japan. A student exchange programme that aims to bring together the  students of both the countries: Japan and India for one – to – one cultural exchange.

    • ® BRG Group organized and sponsored the event “Chando Udyo Chokmma” the first ever mega celebration
    • of foundation day of Gujarat, where different states and countries participated.
    • ® BRG Group hosted the Common wealth Games Baton Relay Rally.
    • ® BRG Group was one of the hosts of the opening ceremony of the mega event, Khel Mahakumbh 2011, held
    • at Baroda on November 28, 2011. Khel Mahakumbh was inaugurated by the then Chief Minister Shri
    • Narendra Modi and actor Akshay Kumar, the brand ambassador for sports for physically handicapped
    • ® Gujarat Public School, BRG Group, hosted Junior National Kabbadi Championship, along with Gujarat
    • State Sports Association and Vadodara Kabbadi Association under the auspices of Amateur Kabbadi
    • Federation in December 2011.
